So I was tired of seeing my “Hello world” post and decided to throw something up.

A few months ago I was working on designing a logo for  a start-up business my brother and I began, Fabricated Pixel (I know, catchy right?). After a bit of brainstorming, I came up with the following:

I’m not much of a logo kind of guy, but I don’t think it’s too shabby for my first try. I wanted to create the concept of a pixel that is impure, or, in this case, blurry and not completely square.

Not long after creating the Fabricated Pixel logo, I started to work on a logo for our first official project, www.up4hire.com, a job search website that aims to keep things simple and affordable. That will be my only product pitch, promise. It’s a pretty straight forward concept, clean lines and a dude with a tie, pretty typical for the whole “job search” category.

Welcome to the new Griffworks.

Since I don’t have a ton of time on my hands to keep the site up-to-date, I’ve decided to throw Wordpress on here to make updating things a little easier. I wanted to develop a simple blog, but let’s face it, I’m lazy, and it’s so much easier not to reinvent the wheel.

Anyway, I’ll be messing with this WP install as time goes on, so for now it’s just a cookie cutter blog, bare with me.
